Bowling Techniques - Stay in shape

Yeah, I know, bowling isn't the most physical sport, but staying fit
can really increase your game. Bowling takes a lot of form, and
repetitive motion, which can lead to fatigue. A physically fit
bowler will always have an advantage against other less fit players.

Cardiovascular exercises such as jogging or cycling will improve your
stamina.

Bowling takes a lot of coordination, a good exercise for increasing
balance and coordination is the cross crawl. Stand with your feet
about shoulder width apart. Raise your right knee to your chest and
cross your left arm over your knee, then do the same with your left
knee and right arm. Do this over and over again. This is a great
way to warm up before you begin to bowl, and you can build balance
and coordination as well.

Stretching is always a good idea, you want to really stretch out your
bowling arm, as well as your legs.

Weight lifting is great as well, upper body as well as lower body.
This will give you the power and stamina you need to win.
